An “internet troll” takes great pleasure in jumping into a fishing forum or Facebook club and asking one question, “what is your favorite........”?  Whether the question pertains to fishing rods, reels, lures, or line, a heated debate is about to begin!

 

     Anglers are a strange breed, we will fight to the death for our brand of fishing equipment. This may be a trait passed down from generations, we may have caught our biggest fish with this equipment, or it may just be some warped status thing.

 

      How grown adults can argue over a small, forged, piece of metal with a barb at the end (a hook) is beyond comprehension. We are deeply entrenched with our “brand” loyalty. These fights will never be won, but for some reason, we always take the bait. Some things will never change.
